Martin Luther King Jr said that the function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education. I think My Alma Mater, PNJK-IS understands education in this paradigm. My sensei taught and inspired me to always think critical and intensive in all aspects of life. Intelligence without character or character without intelligence is like eating without chewing your food properly. You might get full but you can never savour the fullest of the taste. Intelligence gives substance to your character and character gives spectrum to your intelligence. This thing is one of the most valuable lessons I learned from my sensei. To PNJK-IS, kudos！ Mr. Eduardo Balaga, Jr.
